What a beautiful day it is outside today. Last night we had a big storm roll through with a lot of rain and hail. This morning I enjoyed looking out into my back yard at all the colors seemed to just glow. The colors of all the plants seem to radiate after a nice rain. My tulips, oh how gorgeous! I enjoy being able to just stop whatever I'm doing at the moment and just take nature in and appreciate it. I wish more people would "stop and smell the flowers".
Well, I'm on my way to discussions for class. I'm excited about my classes this term and looking forward to starting my research for my projects.

Hi Holli,
ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful day here in Kansas. Although I have not spent enough of it outdoors, I did walk to my daughter's clubhouse to take a swim in the indoor pool (outdoor pool will not be open until Labor Day). We have the door open to her second story balcony though and everything is lush and green. All I see is trees, even though I hear the sounds of traffic on the interstate beltway. I also hear a neighbor watering her plants and/or spraying her deck clean. It is SPRING in Kansas, the sun is shining and no rain, storms, or even much of a breeze today. We discovered a lady bug in her apartment Saturday and saw it again as late as last night. We have not seen her today yet. We know she brings good luck. We are scratching off a new number on our $500,000 prize lottery ticket every day because she landed on it once. :-)
